Portraits of all sizes, shapes and species |

I prefer to take animal pictures in natural light in places where the subject is comfortable and happy. That could mean
taking pictures in your living room, backyard, or a nearby park, depending on what you and your pet prefer.
A portrait session lasts anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, depending on how cooperative your pet decides to be. Before I
take a single picture I take the time to learn from both of you about the pet's likes and dislikes and personality, so
I can capture a portrait that is not only beautiful but meaningful. That time also lets the animal get to know me a
little, which helps make the session more relaxed for everyone.
It helps if you have some of your pet's favorite treats and toys available, and an area to take pictures where the animal
is unlikely to hide. Unless you want pictures of the cat under the sofa, in which case I'll try and work with that!
I will need your help in getting the animal's attention from time to time, and if you want to be in the portrait that's fine,
too.

I will take as many pictures as needed to make sure you have several nice choices for printing, and provide you with a link
to those images in my online gallery. Your session fee also includes one 8 x 10 print
of the pose of your choice, retouched if necessary for optimal printing (for example, I may crop out extra background space
or erase a few stray pet hairs from your couch).
Additional prints are available at the prices listed in the "What Will This Cost?" section. T-shirts, mugs, and other gift items are
also available.

The fee for a portrait session is $150. Additional prints are available for up to one year after the session at the
following rates:
| Size |
Cost |
| 4 x 6 |
$ 5.00 |
| 5 x 7 |
$10.00 |
| 8 x 10 |
$20.00 |
No extra charge for multiple pets, though you will have to buy extra prints if you want solo portraits of each animal.
***20% discount*** on your first photo session fee if you adopted that pet from a shelter or 501(c)(3) rescue in the DC metro area.

| In the unlikely event that you don't find a single picture worth printing from a session, I will come back and try again. If you are still not
happy I will refund your money. It's that simple! |
